Mrs. Elmira Ruch
Mrs. Elmira Ruch, widow of Josiah Ruch, died Saturday at 10
p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Amanda p. Itterly, Flicksville,
of general debility, aged 77. Deceased had been ailing for
the past six months. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran
Church. Deceased was born in this vicinity and had resided
here all her life. In addition to her daughter with whom she
resided she is survived by the following children; William
Ruch, Alvin Ruch, John Ruch, Mrs. Willard Pysher, of Flicksville;
Stewart Ruch of Ackermanville; Mrs. Amon Bitz, of Washinton
Township; Herbert Ruch, of Lower Mt. Bethel Township, and Oscar
Ruch of Factoryville; 21 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs.
Boston Ruch of Allentown.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon
at 2 o’clock at her late home followed by continued services
in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with the Revs. S. Kistler
an J .O. Reagle, officiating. Interment will be made in the
family plot in the adjoining cemetery.
