Mrs. Jacob Shafer
Mrs. Leila S. Shafer, 84, of 315 Woodcliff Ave., Stroudsburg,
died Saturday in her home.
Born in Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Arthur
B. and Mary Kautz Staples. She was a lifelong resident of
Stroudsburg.
She was a ember of St. John's Lutheran Church, Stroudsburg,
and a charter member of the Jacob Stroud Chapter D. A. R.
Her husband Jacob K. Shafer, died before her.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Frances Warren Mikels,
Stroudsburg; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the Daniel
G. Warner Funeral Home, Stroudsburg. Interment will be in
Stroudsburg Cemetery
