Charles W. Steckel
Charles Walter Steckel, of 2207 Front Street, Avona Heights,
died of complications at his home at 8:10 o'clock last evening
after an illness of six months. He was 44 years old. Mr. Steckel
was born at Raubsville and resided in Wilson for the past six
years.
He was employed by the Lehigh Valley Railroad Company 25 years
and was a brakeman for the past 13 years. Deceased was a member
of Zion Lutheran Church and the Brotherhood or Railroad Trainmen.
Mr. Steckel is survived by his wife, Sophia; three children
Mrs. George Smith and Helen and Etta Steckel, all at home;
three sisters, Mrs. Mary Brunner and Mrs. Viola Tausch, of
Wilson, and Mrs. Ruth Groman, of New Market, NJ and two brothers
Theodore Steckel of Easton and LeRoy Steckel, of Wilson. |
