Kenneth W. Steckel Jr.
Kenneth W. Steckel Jr., 71, of Harmony Township, NJ, passed away Monday, February 13, 2006 in Easton Hospital surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Born: On October 22, 1934, in Wilson Borough, Pa, he was a son of the late Kenneth W., Sr. and Dora E. Warner Steckel.

Personal: He and his wife, the former Bobbie Manners, celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on October 30th. Kenneth graduated in 1952 from Belvidere High School and served as an MP in the Army. He was employed for the past seven years as a dispatcher for Harmony Sand & Gravel. Previously, he was a dispatcher for County Concrete, Oxford, NJ for five years and was co-owner with his father of Steckel's Concrete where he was employed for 44 years.

Memberships: He was a member of Warren Lodge # 13, F.& A.M., Belvidere, Tall Cedars of Lebanon # 14, and the Merrill Creek Hunting Club. He was a life member of Harmony Township Fire Company.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Bobbie, he is survived by three sons, a brother, ***** of Harmony Township; a sister, **** of Stewartsville, NJ; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, and his father-in-law, Albert Manners, of Easton. A brother, Donald, died earlier.

Services: Will be Friday at 12 p.m. at the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Masonic Service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
