Mrs. William P. Ebner, Found Dead in Home
Mrs. Margaret S. Ebner, 52. of 1620 Millard St. Bethlehem, was found dead at noon yesterday at her home. She was the wife of William P. Ebner.

Northampton County Coroner George Kametz termed the death a suicide by hanging. She reportedly had been despondent.

Mrs. Ebner was secretary-treasurer of Stanford and Co, Inc, Bethlehem oil and tire firm.

Born in Glendon, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Sassaman Steckel. She attended Glendon Schools and was a graduate of Churchman Business College, Easton.

She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are three brothers, Frank Steckel, Wilson, Thomas Steckel, Lehighton, and Lawrence Steckel, Philadelphia.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Daniel B Snyder Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
