Paul V. Steckel
Paul V. Steckel, 66, of 726 Pine St. in Easton, died Monday
at Easton Hospital.
He worked as a bartender at the Central Bar in Easton. Before
that, he worked at Lehigh Foundry in Easton and Taylor Wharton
in High Bridge, N.J.
Born March 31, 1923, in Easton, he was the son of the late
Paul V. and Naomi C. Kessler Steckel.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Surviving is his wife, the former Grace V. Brown Shiller;
three stepchildren, Robert Brown of Easton, Joseph Shiller
of Northampton, PA., and Laura Scott of Phillipsburg; a sister
Faye Sandt of Warner Springs, Calif.; nine step grandchildren;
two step great grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.
Service will be 8 p.m. Thursday at the Curran-Finegan Funeral
Home in Wilson Borough, PA. Interment will be private and at
the convenience of the family. |
