Belvidere Man Hurt In Thanksgiving Day Warren Truck Accident
Gerald P. Stocker, 33, of 112 Depue St., Belvidere, died Sunday
in Swedish Hospital, Englewood, Colo., as a result of injuries
sustained in a truck accident last Thanksgiving Day in Harmony
Township.
Taken to Warren hospital, he was transferred to Allentown
and Sacred Heart Hospital Center with a broken back and head
injuries. He was transferred to several other hospitals before
being admitted to Swedish Hospital.
Stocker, a passenger, was thrown from the pick-up truck when
it swerved off Route 519 North, struck a tree and rolled over.
Born in Easton on Aug. 14, 1944, he was a son of the late
Kenneth F. and Sadie Wright Stocker.
He was a laborer for the Johnson Screw Manufacturing Co. Belvidere.
Surviving are a brother, ****. of Belvidere and two sisters,*****,
Oxford, and Mrs. **** Franklin, Tenn.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Ashton Funeral
Home, Easton. Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery, Easton. |
