Howard R. Stocker, 76, Civil Engineer, Was Easton Native
Howard R. Stocker, 76, of Silver Springs, Md., a native of
Easton, died Monday at the Behesda Hospital, Bathesda, MD.
Mr. Stocker was a son of the late Jackson E. and Mary Ellen
Faust Stocker. He spent his childhood in Easton. He resided
in Maryland for the last 20 years.
Mr. Stocker was a retired civil engineer for the Federal government.
He was a graduate of Lehigh University, class of 1906.
His only immediate survivor is his widow, Mrs. Jennifer Stocker.
Two sons died in childhood. He also leaves several nieces and
nephews, one of whom is Mrs. George B. Taylor, 1106 Highland
Ave., Bethlehem.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Henninger
Funeral Home, North Fifth Street, Reading. |
