Mrs. Floyd Terhune
Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Viola V. Terhune,
70, of 2929 Clubway, Hackensack, N.J. Mrs. Terhune, a native
of Easton, died Oct 11, at the Christian Sanatorium, Wyckoff.
Mrs. Terhune, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Monroe J.
Stocker, resided in Fair Lawn N.J. for many years. She moved
to Hackensack four years ago. Her husband, Floyd I. Terhune,
died in 1960.
She was a member of our Savior Lutheran Church, Fair Lawn;
was senior vice president of the 29th Division Ladies Auxiliary
and was a member of the World War I Veterans Auxiliary 1916,
and Alexander Hamilton Unit 139, VFW Auxiliary, Paterson, N.J.
Survivors include a son, Richard F. Weinberg, Kenville; a
sister, Mrs. Myra VanSyckle, Philadelphia, and two brothers,
Jackson and Edward Stocker, both of Easton.
The funeral was held last Friday in Fair Lawn; Interment was
in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, N.J. |
