William H.D. Stocker
William H. D. Stocker, 86, formerly of South Side, died yesterday
afternoon in the Odd Fellows Home, Middletown. He was born in
Williams Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stocker.
Mr. Stocker, a retired butcher in South Side, resided nearly
all his life in this area. He formerly lived on Iron Street.
He was a member of Lehicton Lodge, I. O. O. F., and St. Paul's
Lutheran Church.
Surviving is a son, Charles E. Stocker, of Palo Alto, Calif.
Funeral rites will be held at the family plot in Hay's cemetery
tomorrow at 11 a.m. The Rev. Luther A. Gruver will officiate. |
