Kenneth Sigler
Kenneth "Shorty" Sigler, 68, of Franklin Township in Flemington,
died Wednesday in his home.
Before his retirement, he was employed by Minalex Corporation in Whitehouse,
N.J., as an aluminum extruder.
Born Oct. 17, 1921, in Glen Gardner, N.J., he was a son of the the
late Charles M. and Cahterine Strunk Sigler. He lived in High Bridge,
N.J., before moving to Flemington 39 years ago.
During World War II, he served with the Army in Italy, Rhineland and
Southern France, and was the recipient of the Bronze Star.
Survivors include his wife, the former Evelyn Beam; two sons, Kennth
C. of Kingwood Township, N.J., and Donald R. of Pittstown, N.J.;two
daughters, Catherine Gradl and Rosemary Begley, both of Ashville, N.C;
a sister, Dorothy Hartzel of Hackettstown; eight grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
Services ill be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Robert L. Ford Funeral
Home in Flemington. Interment will be in Spruce Run Cemetery in Spruce
Run, N.J.
