Howard M. Uhler
Howard M. Uhler, 68, of 23 North St., Nazareth, died Saturday in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.
Mr. Uhler was formerly employed as a knitter by the Kraemer Textiles Co., Nazareth, and the Rinck Cordage Co, Easton. He retired four years ago.
Born in Stockertown he was a son of the late Ephraim and Carrie Uhler.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nazareth, and its Adult Bible Class; the POS of A, Nazareth; Bethlehem Aerie, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Nazareth Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors include his widow, the former Emma Serfass; four sons, Raymond, Easton, and Robert , Bernard and Carl, all of Nazareth, four brothers, Valentine, Allentown, Charles, East Bangor, Bethlehem, and Sherman, Prospectville; two sisters, Mrs. Mazie Ridgely, Northampton R.D.1 and Miss Naomi Uhler, Nazareth and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m.; tomorrow at the Knecht Funeral Home, Nazareth. |
