RAYMOND J. UHLER
Raymond J. Uhler, 82, of Bethman Road, Bethlehem Township, died Tuesday, March 16, in Easton Hospital. he was the husband of Marie (VanHeek) Uhler. They were married for 59 years last August.
He was an assistant plant manager for Industrial Engraving, Easton before retiring in 1980 after 35 years' service.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Howard and Emma (Serfas) Uhler.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and recipient of six battle stars.
He was a past president of the Allentown-Reading branch of American Electroplaters Society and the Easton Bowling Association.
He was a member of the Lehigh Valley Craftsmen's Club and E.C. Baker Post 1290, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Easton.
Survivors: Wife; son, ****., and a daughter, *****, both of Palmer Township; brothers, Bernard L. and ****, both of Nazareth, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton Streets, Easton. Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
