Bertram C. Unangst
Bertram C. Unangst, 56, of Williams Township, R.D. 4, Easton,
died Saturday night in Easton Hospital.
A mechanic, he at one time operated his own garage in Williams
Township. Later he was employed as a mechanic for the Baum
Chevrolet Co, Sellerville, and as a watchman at the Penn
Allen Slag Co., Glendon. He was last employed by the Robert
C. Ruschman Estate Auto Co., Easton.
He was of the Lutheran faith. He was a ember of the Lower
Mt. Bethel Democratic Association of Martin’s Creek.
Born in Williams Township, he was a son of the late Elmer
and Cora Brotzman Unangst.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Catherine Young Unangst;
four sons, Sterling of Bangor, Bertram E. , at home; Frederick
of West Easton, and Robert, with the Navy in Bainbridge,
Md.; two daughters, Cora, wife of Russell Sacks, Montgomery
County, and Fay, at home, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the
Katinis Funeral Chapel, Wilson
