Charles Somogyi
Charles Somogyi, 61, of 660 Vulcanite Ave., Alpha, died yesterday
in Warren Hosptial.
He retired from the Cameron Division of Ingersoll-Rand Co.,
Phillipsburg, after 28 years of service. He also operated
Somogyi's Service Station, Alpha, for 18 years.
Born in Alpha, he was a son of the late Charles and May
Jakab Somogyi.
He was amember of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alpha and
a social member of the Alpha Fire co.
surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Unangst; three
sons, two brothers, Julius of Florida
and Robert of Easton;; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Sheridan,
Phillipsburg and Mrs. Mary Arigo, Mrs. Elsie Raabe and Miss
Irene Somogyi, all of alpha and a graddaughter.
The fuenral will be held at 9:15 a.m. Satruday in the Finegan
Funeral home, Alpha, followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian
Burial in St. Mary's Catholic church. Interment will be in
St. Mary Cemetery.
