Mrs. Clyde Apgar, 93, Ex-Teacher
Mrs. Ethel W. Apgar, 93, of 611 Milton St., died last night
in Eastwood Convalescent Home, Wilson, where she was a guest
for a year. Previously, she was in Betts Hospital for six
years.
Her husband, Clyde N. Apgar Sr., died 33 years ago.
Mrs. Apgar was a school teacher in the Easton area many
years ago.
She was born in Easton on Oct 15, 1879, a daughter of the
late Benjamin F. and Elizabeth Wilhelm Unangst.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Easton.
Surviving are a son, Clyde N. Jr., Milford, N.J.; two grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Strunk Funeral
Home, Easton. Interment will be in the South Easton Cemetery.
