Jacob T. Walter
Jacob T. Walter Sr., 65 years old of 827 Milton Street, died last night at 8:35 o’clock at his home after an illness of several months. He was admitted to Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia, on Feb. 9, where he underwent an operation several days later. He was discharge from the hospital on March 19, but had been confined to his home since that time.

Mr. Walter was a native of Easton and was born on April 3, 1877, a son of the late Jacob and Hannah Garis Walter. He was employed by the Metropolitan Edison Company for 43 years, and had worked until the middle of January, when he was taken sick. Mr. Walter was a member of Christ Evangelical Church and Court Wikoff, No. 179, Foresters of America.

Surviving are his widow Maud, two daughters; Mrs. Elizabeth Uhl, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Ethel Petty, of Easton; two sons. Paul I. Walter, of Easton, and Pvt. Jacob T. Walter Jr. of Camp Transpe, Pa; nine grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Clause of Glenside
