Mrs. George Carter
Mrs. Carrie Walters Carter, 67, wife of George Carter, of 107 West Warren Street, Dunmore, near Scranton, died yesterday in Scranton State Hospital.

Mrs. Carter was born in Easton and lived in this city before moving to Dunmore about 30 years ago. She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Dunmore.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Orlando Muzi, of Dunmore; Two sons, Sgt. William Carter with the Army in England and M/Sgt David Carter, with the Army at Ft. Bragg, N.C.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Marie Hummel, of Bangor, and Mrs. Irene Davis, of Scranton; a stepson, Robert Carter, of Dunmore; three brothers, Frank, Harvey and Lee Walters, All of Easton; three sisters, the Misses Zelda and Minnie Walters, both of Easton, and Mrs. Ann VanSyckle, of Providence R.I. and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the DeGraw funeral home, Scranton. Interment will be in Dunmore Cemetery.
