Aaron T. Walters
Aaron T. Walters, a well known resident of this city, died shortly after noon Sunday at his home, 52 North Fourth Street, of a complication of ailments, in his sixty-first years. The deceased had been sick since January 1 last, and suffered considerably during his long confinement.
He was a native of Easton and a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Walters. In his younger days for a period of fourteen years he followed the life of a sailor on a whaling vessel. He was also a member of the police force of the old Easton borough for eight years. Mr. Walters also for fifteen years and up to several months ago, the proprietor of the American hotel, this city.
The deceased is survived by a widow and four children, Robert M. and Floyd A. Walters, Mrs. H. M. Clark and Miss Minnie Walters, of Bethlehem and William H. Walters, also survive.
Mr. Walters was a member of Star council, Royal Arcanum, of this city.
