Ira E. Werkheiser, 62, of 1035 Second Ave., Hellertown, died
Tuesday in his home. He was the husband of Mary E. (Rosenberger)
Werkheiser. They were married 34 years in July.
Werkheiser was a foreman at Lehigh Metal Fabricators, Bethlehem,
for 10 years before retiring in 1987. Before that he was a
foreman for the Bethlehem Corp., Easton.
Born in Lower Saucon Township, he was a son of the late William
and Bertha (Adams) Werkheiser.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon
Township.
He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors: Wife; son ***** of Hellertown; brothers, Walter
in Florida and Mahlon of Springtown; sisters, Alberta, wife
of Frank Smith of Riegelsville, and Jean Farrington of Hellertown,
and two grandsons.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Falk Funeral Home, 1418 Main St.,
Hellertown. Call 7-9 p.m. Thursday. |
