Shirley Mae Rice -- native of Nazareth
Shirley Mae Rice, 62, of Coatesville, Pa., died Tuesday, Aug.
18, in her home. She was a certified nurse's assistant.
Born
in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Paul A. and Dorothy
Benn Werkheiser. She lived in Coatesville for the past 13
years. She attended Nazareth Junior High School and graduated
from Haverford High School in Haverford, Pa. She enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by five daughters, ***** of
Coatesville,***** of Pottstown, Pa.,***** of Rising Sun,
Md., ***** of Elkton, Md.,, and *****
of Berwick, Pa.; three sisters, ***** of Langhorne,Pa.,
***** of West Chester, Pa., and ***** of Bethlehem;
and nine grandchildren. A sister, Dorothy Lansing, died earlier.
Graveside services
will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Cemetery in Nazareth.
The Boyd Funeral Home, 101 S. Church St., West Chester,
is in charge of arrangements.
