Paul H. Wilhelm, 88, Ex-Insurance Agent and Veteran Area
Golfer
Paul H. Wilhelm, 88, of 1851 Ferry St.., Wilson, died yesterday
in Easton Hospital.
He was a salesman for Prudential Insurance Co., for 44 years,
retiring in 1954.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Geroge and Emma
Laubach Wilhelm.
He was a life member of the Green Pond Country Club. Bethel
hem Township.
Mr. Wilhelm was on of the area's oldest golfers in terms
of age and playing. He prided himself in walking on the course
and not using a cart. For years he played in the annual John
P. Cassidy Memorial Tournament at Green Pond, a classic for
oldtimers.
His wife the former Frances Ann Sanders, died in July 1976.
Surviving are two sons, George S. of Belvidere and Paul
H. Jr. of Wilson; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held Thursday at the conveniences of the
family. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine,
The Katinis Funeral Home, Wilson is in charge of arrangements.
