George J. Young, 83, Lallas Auto Mechanic
George J. Young, 83, of 514 Pine St., Easton, died last night in Easton hospital where he was admitted Jan 26.

He was a master auto mechanic for George Lallas Co., Easton for 25 years. He retired in 1963 from N.Y. Transformer Co., Alpha, because of Blindness.

During World War II, he helped build airplanes for Wright Martins Aircraft Co., New Jersey.

Born in Edelmans, Nazareth R.D3, he was a son of the late Oliver and Mary Jane Metz Young.

His wife the former Mildred Eversole died in January 1954.

Surviving are four daughters, Esther Rissmiller* and Mrs. Albert Johnson*, both of Easton; Mrs. Roy Schintine*, Longwood, Fla., and Mrs. Paul Pacotine, Allentown, four sons, Daniel Young, Tacoma, Wash.; Raymond Rissmiller*, Allentown; Victor Rissmiller*, Philipsburg and Leon Rissmiller*, Easton; a brother, Charles Young, Trenton, N.J; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Schmidt Mortuary Nazareth. Interment will be in Plainfield Township Church Cemetery.
