Howard (Pete) Zeller
Howard (Pete) Zeller, 58, of Stewartsville Heights, an employee in the cylinder
department of Taylor-Wharton Iron and Steel Company, Easton, died yesterday afternoon
in Betts Hospital, where he had been a patient for six weeks. He had been ill
a year and a half.
Born April 16, 1897, in Springtown, NJ. he was the son of the late George W.
and Emma Steckel Zeller. He was a veteran of World War I, and had been employed
by Taylor-Wharton since 1937. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Oscar M. Smith, of Stewartsville
Heights, with whom he resided.
