Hazel Emery Schaner, 95, of 803 N. Wahneta St., Allentown, died Sunday, Aug. 25, in Westminster Village, Allentown. She was the wife of the late B. Edward Schaner.
She was a former geography and history teacher at Broughal Junior High School of the Bethlehem Area School District.
Born in Portland, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Mary Catherine (Gulick) Emery.
She was a member, former deacon and Sunday school teacher of Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem, and a member of its Women's Society.
She was a former member of Lehigh Valley Crippled Children and Adults.
Survivors: Son, **** of Duncansville, Blair County, and two grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Thursday in the church. No calling hours. Arrangements, Snyder-Hinkle-Spatig Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
