Waldo N. Hackett, 77, Was Native of Easton
Word has been received of the death of Waldo Noble Hackett, 77, of 153 Mill Creek Rd., Haverford, a native of Easton, Mr. Hackett died April 22, in Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Mr. Hackett was a graduate of Lafayette College, class of 1902.
He was the son of the late William and Edith Noble Hackett. His father was a former president of Easton National Bank, the Hackett family resided at Reeder and Clinton streets.
Mr. Hackett was a student at the University of Pennsylvania from 1920 to 1903 when he became an investment banker. He was associated with Reilly Brock & Co., Yarnall & Co. and W. N. Hackett & Co.
Surviving are his widow, the former Katherine Holden; daughter, Mrs. Frances Dittmann, and five grandchildren.
The funeral was held in Philadelphia. |
