Mrs. Horace Lehr, 62, Active on Committees
Mrs. Marie Louise Hilliard Lehr, 62, of 512 Porter St., died at 10 p.m. yesterday in Easton Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning.
Mrs. Lehr was the widow of Horace A. Lehr, Jr., who died in 1943.
Born in Easton Nov. 2, 1895, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Marie Louise Thielen Hilliard.
Active on hospital committees, she was a member of the Woman’s Board of Easton Hospital and treasurer auxiliaries. She was a member of the Volunteer service., Easton Hospital and the Lafayette Auxiliary. She was active in Community Chest work and other drives in Easton. She was a member of Christ Lutheran church.
Surviving are a son, John H. Easton; a daughter, Mrs. Reed S. Newcomb, Delhi, India; a brother, Clinton T. Hilliard, Easton, and five grandsons.
The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Heck Memorial Home, Easton. |
