Joel F. Hineline
Joel F. Hineline, on of the best known residents of Williams township, died suddenly Monday evening at his home, of paralysis of the heart. The deceased was within a few days of 71 years old. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Granville Richards, Clemens Hineline and Joel F. Hineline, Jr., of Morgan Hill; Mrs. Floyd Nolf and Thomas Hineline, of Easton; Clyde Hineline, of Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Harry Smock and Mrs. Wilson Heavener, of South Bethlehem. Five children preceded him to the grave.

During the Civil war Mr. Hineline served as a member of Company F, One Hundred and Fifty-third Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers. He participated in the battle of Gettysburg, and carried since that time a bullet he received on the battlefield. The deceased was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Williams Township.
