Mrs. Minnie S. Dech
Mrs. Minnie Elizabeth Sandt Dech, widow of Charles E. Dech, aged 54 years, died on Friday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Morris Hummel, at Bloomsburg, Pa., where she had resided since September last.
Mrs. Dech was a former resident of Easton and was a daughter of the late Amandus and Ebezena Werkheiser Sandt and left Easton 35 years ago to make her home in New London, Conn. Several years ago Mrs. Dech left New London for Philadelphia, where she resided, with another sister, Mrs. Ellis Hartman.
Deceased is survived by five sisters: Mrs. Morris Humel, of Bloomsburg; Mrs. Ellis Hartman, Miss Jennie Sandt, and Mrs. Charles Geolitz of Philadelphia, and Mrs. J.J. Ross, Aberdeen, Miss. Three grandchildren also survive; Mrs. Dech was formerly a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church, this city.
The body will be brought to this city tomorrow afternoon and the funeral will be held on Wednesday morning at the 11 o’clock from the parlors of Ralph R. Pittenger, 54 North Third Street. Interment in Easton Heights cemetery.
