Mrs. Lena N. Topfer
Mrs. Lena N. Topfer, 70 years old widow of John Topfer, of Moore Township, near Point Phillips, died on Sunday evening at her home, following an illness of three months, after being bedfast the last three weeks.
Mrs. Topfer was born in Moore Township, daughter of the late Joseph and Polly Beers Williamson. She was a member of the United Brethren Church, Point Phillips.
She is survived by one brother, Wilson Williamson, of Nazareth; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Bensing and Mrs. Harvey Grube, of Bath R. D. 1, and by one son, John Topfer, with who she lived.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock form her home and interment will be in Point Phillips burial grounds. The Rev. Herbert R. Blough, Pastor of the U. B. Church of Cross Roads will officiate. |
