William C. Woodring
William C. Woodring, 62, of 231 Adrain St., Emmaus, a chairman at Bethlehem Steel Co. for 25 years, was stricken and died at work at the Bethlehem plant yesterday.
Northampton County Coroner Joseph Reichl said death was due to a heart attack.
Born in Northampton County, Woodring was a son of the late Harvey and Lillie (Christ) Woodring. He was the husband of Dorothy (Boyer) Woodring.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Paul of Emmaus and Roy of N. Miami Beach, Fla., four sisters, Grace, wife of Earl Ritter of Coopersburg; Mrs. Annie Weaver of Steinsburg; Mrs. Elsie Hersh of Emmaus and Florence of Allentown; two brothers Irvin and Robert, both of Emmaus and five grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus, with calling hours Friday 7-8:30 p.m. |
