Johnson, 82, of Newburg, a former member of the Lower Nazare th Township school board, died this morning in St. Luke's Hospital, Founta in Hill. Mr. Johnson, a house painter by trade, was born Oct. 13, 1869 in Lower Naz areth Township, a son of the the late George and Marietta Roth Johnson. H is entire life was spent in the township. He was a member of the Evangelical Reformed wing of Dryland Church, heckto wn. He formerly was a member of the church consistory and was secreta ry of the Sunday school for many years. Hewas a meber of the I.O.o. F. lo dge, hecktown, and was past noble grand of the lodge. Survivng are a son, George Johnson, with whom he resided; two grandchildr en and two great-grandchildren. His wife was the late Edna Kreidler Johns on. Funeral services will beheld Sunday at 2:3o p.m in Dryland Church wit t he Rev. Roger Kochler, Evangleical Refomred pastor, officiating. Interme nt will be in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. | ||
