Fox, 81, Allentown, real estate broker and former restaurateur, d ied last night at his home, 1220 N. 19th St., He had been ill three years. Mr. Fox operated the City Restaurant at 10-12 S. 6th St. for several yea rs until he opened the Fox & Lane Restaurant on South 8th street. he reti ed from the restaurant business in 1925 to enter the real estate and insur ance field. Born in Bucksville, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Jefferson and E lizabeth Frankenfield Fox. He was a resident of Allentown most of his lif e. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William P. Howeth, Allentown, with wh om he residend, a brother Alonzo, Doylestown; and a grandson. His wife t he former Jennie Hixson died in 1942. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Trexler Funeral home, A llentown. | ||
