M., and the Welcome Council for 703, R. A., of Brookl yn. He was one of the organizers of the Nations Athletic Club, of that ci ty, and for many years took deep interest in the organization. It was thro ugh his efforts to a large extent that the club assumed the prominent pla ce it occupies today in athletics. At one time he also was a member of t he Jamaica Bay Yacht Club.

The deceased was a son of the late Jacob L. hay. He is survived by his mo ther, Mrs. Elizabeth Hay, by his wife and one daughter, Mildred hay, a nd by one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Burgtorf, all of Brooklyn. Mr. Hay left Easton 20 or 35 years ago.
