C. D. Unangst Dies, veteran railroader
Charles D. Unangst, 66, of 612 E. Linwood St., Allentown, an engineer f or the Philadelphia, Bethlehem, & New England Railroad 27 years until reti ring in 1972, died Sunday in his home.

He was the husband of Helen I. (Barthol) Unangst. Born in Bethlehem, he w as a son of the late George and Mary Unangst.

He was a member of Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Surviving besides his widow are four sons, George, Lester and Wayne a ll at home, and David of Salisbury Township; four daughters, Arlen wi fe of Walter Yenolevich of Salisbury Township; Peggy, wife of Richard Mimg ora, and Sandra, wife of Richard Stein, all of Bethlehem and Linda, at hom e; three brothers, Lester of Ukiah, Calif.; Nelson of Hokendauqua and Robe rt of New Smithville; four sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Blush of Lakewood, Calif .; Ruth of Harry Schiffer of Bethlehem; Mrs. Clara Bartholomew of Lenharts ville, and Arlene, wife of John Hower of Orefield R. 1, and seven grandchi ldren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Werley Funeral Hom e, 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Wed nesday.
