Oscar J. Torrence, of Salisbury township, died Tuesday night in Sacred Hea rt hospital of a complication of diseases, aged 53 years, 6 months and 2 d ays. He was employed by Mory and Knecht, ice dealers, and was a memb er of the Mountainville Fire Company, No. 1. There survives his wife, Min nie; a son, William Torrence, Mountainville; a step-son, Raymond H. Gut h, Allentown; two step-daughters, Mrs. Willoughby Eck, Wecoesville; Mrs. R ay Butz, Brookdale; two grandchildren and six sisters, Mrs. Joseph Ecker t, Mrs. Elmer Gerhart, Mrs. Morris Kauffman, Mrs. Morris Heiney, Mrs. Pha on Sell, and Mrs. Claude Schwenzer, all of Mountainville. The Funeral wi ll be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the home of his son, William, Pla infield street, Mountainville, with services in Eastern Jerusalem Churc h. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining. |
