Mrs. Edna I. Kessler, 76, widow of Thomas C. Kessler, died today at the ho me of her son-in-law & daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Allen LaRosa Jr., 1023 Lehi gh Street, with whom she resided 11 years. She was in ill health 1 1/2 yea rs. Mrs. Kessler formerly resided at Greenwood Avenue, palmer Township, f or more than 40 years. Born in Forks Township, Dec. 1, 1887, she was a dau ghter of the late Owen & Ann Eliza Arner Young. Her husband died in May 19 50. She was of the Lutheran faith. She was a charter member of Unit 12, Mo thers of World War II, Easton.

Survivors include 4 sons, Walter H., of Portsmouth, Ark.; Lester E. & Rich ard C., both of Easton; Edward L., of Beverly, Mass; 3 other daughters, Ad a, wife of Walter Purdy, of Tatamy; Arlene, wife of Paul Nolf, of Palmer T ownship; and Jean, wife of Henry Marsteller, of Alpha, New Jersey; 12 gran dchildren & 1 great-grandchild. She was the last member of a fami ly of 12 children.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Schmidt Mortuary, Naza reth.
