Mrs. Oscar Edelman, Former Dietitian
Mrs. Flora S. Edelman, 86, of Hecktown, died today at 7:15 a.m. in St. Luk e?s Hospital, Fountain Hil, where she had been a patient since Monday.
Mr. Edelman, widow of Oscar G. F. Edelman, was born in Bethlehem Townshi p, a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Ann Reinheimer Heil. She was a li felong resident of the Hecktown area.
In her earlier life she was a dietitian and a matron at Gracedale, the Nor thampton County Home, for about 12 years. She was a member of Dryland Trin ity Lutheran Church, Hecktown, and its Ladies Aid and Missionary societies .
For the last six months, during her illness, she resided in Hecktown at t he home of her nice, Mrs. Marcus E. Fehnel. Her only other relatives are a nother niece, Mrs. Raymond Weaver, of Nazareth r. D.21, and two nephews, I ra Haupt, or Easton and Clayton Haupt of Bath.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:45 p.m. in Dryland Church, wi th the Rev. Robert L. Herman, Pastor, officiating. Intermetn will be in Ho pe Cemetery, Hecktwon. |
