Mrs. Sarah E. Ruth
Mrs. Sarah E. Ruth, widow of Milton O. Ruth, and all of her life time a highly respected and widely known resident of the upper end of Northampton c ounty, passed away on Monday morning at 4 o'clock at her late home, the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Bensing, Bath.Rou te 1, of complications with which she has been ailing for some time.; She was seventy eight years of age.
Mrs. Ruth ws born in Bushkill Township, the daughter of the late Christian and Mary, nee Koehler, Kaste, and a devoted her life tiem to the care and rearing of her large family.
There survive to mourn her loss, the following children: Mrs. George Bensing, Bath Route 1; Mrs. Henry Landis, Egypt, Mrs. William Glencross, Inglewood, Cal. And William Ruth, of Bethelhem. Seven grandchildren, five great -grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: John Kaske, Phillipsburg; Albert Kaske, Easton, Route 3, and Mrs. Charles Nitschie, of Bath Route 1.
Funeral services will be held from the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bensing, on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with services at the house. Interment will be made in the family plot in Fairview cemetery, Moorestown. Rev. H. D. Clauss will officiate. |
