Frederick J. Hawk Sr., 65, of 248 E. Ettwein St., Bethlehem, died Frid ay in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Viola M. (Klot z) Hawk.

He was a yardman for Morris Black and Sons, Bethlehem, for 32 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Jeremiah and Lillie (Hareigl e) Hawk.

Surviving are three daughters, Bertha, wife of James Texter of Perkasie, P auline, wife of Earl Croisette of Telford, and Shirley, wife of Edward Voo rhees, with whom he resided; two sons, Frederick J. Jr. of Bethlehem R. 2, and Leroy E. of Bethlehem; a brother William, and a sister, Mrs. Bert ha Beddoe, both of Bethlehem; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildr en.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Wallace M. Long Funeral Home, 5 00 Linden St., Bethlehem. A calling hour will precede the services.
