J. Frederick Wolfe, L. & H. Trainman, was 61
J. Frederick Wolfe, 61, a trainman for the Lehigh and Hudson Railway for t he last 35 year, died at 12:45 a.m. today at his home, 140 Broad Street, P hillipsburg. his health had been failing since last summer.

Mr. Wolfe was born in Easton, a son of the late William and Caroline Wolf e, he made his home in this city until 1916 when he moved to Phillipsbur g. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Phillipsburg El ks and Easton Moose Lodges and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Surviving are his wife, Stella Kichline Wolfe; and five sisters, Mrs. Will iam Nixon, and Mrs. Richard Hendra, both of Phillipsburg; Mrs. Oscar Potra tz, of Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. John Phillippe, of Miami Fla., and Mrs. Lest er Borneman, of Allentown.

Funeral services for J. Frederick, 61, who died on Wednesday at his hom e, 140 Broad Street, Phillipsburg, were held this afternoon at the Shillin ger funeral home.

The Rev. Glenn G. Neubauer, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, offic iated. Interment was in Easton Heights cemetery, Pallbearers were A. J. Vo tsch, Harry and J. Irvin Decker, Paul Ryerson, Archie Haley and William Wh itmore.
