Elma Mae Keller, 83, of 22 N. Broad St., Nazareth, died Thursday, Apr il 8, in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of Lovine L. Keller, who di ed in 1990.
She was an instructor assistant at Shafer Elementary School, Nazareth, f or 10 years before retiring in 1984. She was a policewoman in Nazare th in the 1950s and '60s.
She received an associate degree in general education from Northampton Com munity College in 1992.
Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Alvin J. and Carrie (Sand t) Hordendorf.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nazareth, a nd its Philatelic Choir and Reach Out Group. Also, she was the Sunday scho ol primary department pianist for 67 years until last year.
She also was a member of the GWF Club, Moorestown Garden Club, Business Pr ofessional Women, LORA Club pianist, LORA-MORA chorus, the Rotary pianis t, a member of the Nazareth Heritage Inc., and a Girl Scout Troop leade r, all in Nazareth.
Survivors: Nephew.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Cent er St., Nazareth. Cal 10-11 a.m. Monday.
