Ellsworth P. (Punch) Meixell, 71, of Stockertown, died at 12:45 a.m. yeste rday at Easton
Hospital to which he was admitted Jan. 20 for treatment of burns suffer ed the same day while at work at the Taylor-Wharton plant.

Mr. Meixell, an employe of Taylor-Wharton for 13 years, had been a machini st for 52 years. He served his apprenticeship at the Messinger Foundry, Ta tamy. He was a member of Forks Valley Council 276, Order of United Americ an Mechanics.

He was born in Bethlehem Township, March 25, 1876, a son of the late Mr. a nd Mrs. Peter
Meixell. He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Forks Salem Churc h.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gertie Young Meixell, and a foster daught er, Miss Dorothy
Meixell, of Stockertown.

Funeral services will be held at the Schmidt mortuary, Nazareth, at 2:30 p .m.Thursday. The Rev. J. Allen Snyder and the Rev. Floyd R. Shafer will of ficiate. Interment will be in Forks cemetery.

Meixell Funeral
Funeral services for Ellsworth P. Meixell, 71, of Stockertown, who died Su nday in Easton Hospital, were held yesterday at the Schmidt mortuary, Naza reth. The Rev. J. Allen Snyder, pastor of the Lutheran congregation of Fo rks Church, and the Rev. Floyd R. Shafer, pastor of Evangelical Reformed c ongregation of that church, officiated. Interment was in Forks cemetery.

Pallbearers, employees of Taylor-Wharton Iron and Steel Co., were Willa rd L. Hamlin, Edward C. Vreeland, John Hosking, John Cornelius, Stanley Ko cher, and Paul Illick.
