Winfield E. Halfer, 68, of Bethlehem R. 1 died Wednesday in the Zohlman Nu rsing Home, Richlandtown. He was the husband of the late Bertha A. (Becke r) Hafler.
He was employed by an operating engineers union in Reading and was assign ed to the Pennylvania ower & Light Co.?s Martin?s Creek generating station .
Born in Lower Saucon Township, he was a son of the late Harry and Ida Hafl er.
He was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Leithsville.
Surviving are two daughters, Marjorie Dehm of Bethlehem and Susan Ritt on of Hellertown, two sons, David of Brandon, Miss., and Willard of Bethle hem, and a brother Leroy of Bethlehem.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the C. W. Templeton Funeral Hom e, 326 Main ST., Hellertown. |
