Robert Musselman
Robert Musselman, a retired farmer and well known resident of Northampton, passed away on Saturday morning at 2 o'clock at his home 120 East Twenty-First Street, Northampton, after a short illness, from complications, aged 74 years, 6 months and 4 days.
Mr. Musselman was a native of near Cherryville and was a son of the Joseph and Susanna, nee Cole, Musselman. He began farming in his youth and followed agricultural pursuits until eighteen years ago when he retired. He was twice married, his first wife, Ellen, nee Lerch died forty years ago. His second wife was Amanda, nee Laub, who with the following children and stepchildren survive. Joseph, Harry and Mrs. Henry Smith, Northampton; Mrs. Minerva Davis, Nesquehoning; Mrs. Reuben Messinger, of Bethlehem, and Calvin Becker, of Bath. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. He was a member of Siegfried Lodge, 1026 I. O. O. F., and Lady Lincoln Rebekah Lodge, 79, I. O. O. F.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from his late home. Services and burial will be held in Zion Stone Church. |
