Nazareth R. 3. Octogenarian: Suffered Heart Attack

Mrs. Emma Amelia Washburn. 86. wile of the late Alfred J. Washburn, died suddenly from a heart attack on Sunday morning at the home of her sister. Mrs. Sarah Bergstresser, Nazareth R. 3.

Dr. D. F. Bachman. Northampton county coroner, who issued the certificate certificate of death, said Mrs. Washburn, spent Saturday shopping in Allentown and had retired at about 9 pm.

She was found dead at 3 a.m.. by her sister in her bedroom. Mrs. Washburn was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Ruch Hixon. and was twice married.

Her first husband. E. Franklin Weaver, died in 1884. and Mr. Washburn Washburn died in 1921.

For many years the Washburn resided resided at 622 Pawnee St.. Bethlehem,

Survivors are one son, Herbert F. Weaver. 704 W. Market St.. Bethlehem, Bethlehem, a Bethlehem Steel Co. salesman; a daughter, Mrs. Anna Shoemaker. Allentown: two sisters. Mrs. Saraht Bergstresser. with whom she mase her home; Mrs. Anna Kauffmann, of Lewisburg, , Pa.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Tuesday m the Grirm home. 817 W. Broad St.. Bethlehem, with interment in Nisky Hill.
