Charles H. Frankenfield
Charles H. Frankenfield, 78, years old, of 114 East Goepp Street, Bethleh em died on Saturday at his home. He was born in Bethlehem Township, a s on of the late William and Annie Hartzell Frankenfield and for 25 years w as employed by the Bethlehem Steel Co. He was pensioned 10 years ago by t he company.

His widow, Annie Bergstresser Frankenfield survives him with one daughte r, Esther, at home; one sister, Mrs. Emery Kneedler, Bethlehem and a niec e, Mrs. Marvin Wertman, Bethlehem.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 from his late home wi th continued services in Salem Lutheran Church, Bethlehem and interme nt in Fairview Cemetery.

Charles H. Frankenfield, 78, of 114 E. Geopp St., Bethlehem, died at 3: 05 yesterday afternoon at his home. He was born in Bethlehem township, Ma rch 28, 1864, a son of the late William and Annie, nee Hartzel, Frankenfie ld. He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel company as a clerk for 25 yea rs and was pensioned by the company 10 years ago. He was also employ ed by the John Rauch bakery as a team driver for some time. Mr. Frankenfi eld was an active member of the Salem Evangelical Lutheran church of Bethl ehem. He was also a member of the Sunday school's men's Bible class a nd of the brotherhood of the church. He had served a short term as deac on under the Rev. Mr. Kline. He is survived by his wife Annie L. Bergstre sser; one daughter, Esther M. Frankenfield, at home; one sister, Mrs. Eme ry Kneedler of Maple St., Bethlehem; and one niece, Mrs. Marvin Wertma n. Private services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at the late ho me at 1:30 p.m. with continued services in the Salem Lutheran chur ch at 2 p.m. Rev. Dr. Franklin Geehr will officiate. Interment will be m ade in the family plot on Fairview cemetery, Bethlehem.
