Dr. A. E. Gable
Dr. Arthur E. Gable, aged 63 years, one of the best known veterinary surgeons in this section of the state, died at 10:30 o'clock last evening at his home, 114 East First Street, after an illness of seven years following a paralytic stroke.

Dr. Gable was born in 1858 in Tidioute but removed to Meadville with his parents in early infancy. He practiced his profession in Greenville, Clairon and Butler and then came to Oil City in 1898, living there continuously since that time. He was highly esteemed for his genial and kindly manner.

Surviving are his wife and four children as follows; George Howard Gable, of Chicago; Mrs. Thomas Urell, of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Frank Berry and Miss Margaret C. Gable, of this city. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Charles Gable, of Meadville and three sisters and four brothers.

The body was removed to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Berry, at 514 North street, where funeral services will be ehld at the time to be announced later. The burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
