Victor R. Kichline, 62, Rifle Wound Victim
Victor R. Kichline, 62, a farmer, was found dead yesterday in the att ic of his home in Easton R.D. 4, near Gaffney Hill, with a rifle wou nd in the head. a .22 caliberrifle was found near the body.

The body was found by his wife, Mrs. Annie E. Hoover Kichline, at about 4: 30 p.m. Dr. Walter J. Filipek, of Hellertown, pronounced the man dead. No rthampton County Coroner Martin J. Bechtel issued a certificate of suicide .

A lifelong resident of Williams Township, Mr. Kichline was a son of the la te Granville and Margaret Knoble Kichline. He was born Jan. 22, 189 3. He had sold farm produce at the Centre Square market every week sin ce his youth.

He was a meber of Christ Evanglical and Reformed Church, Lower Saucon Town ship; Loyal Order of Moose, No. 45, Easton; Easton Fleas Club and Hellerto wn Sportsmen's Club.

Surviving besides his widow are three daughters, Mrs. Raymond King and Mr s. Russell Schruntz, both of Easton R. D. 4, and Mrs. William Cawley, of E aston; five sons, Clarence, Roy, Robert, and George W. of EastonR.D. 4, a nd Elmer, of Easton; a brother, Floyd of Easton R.D. 4; two sisrer, Mrs. J ohn S. Kunsman, of Bethlehem R.D.1. and Mrs. Charles Heft, of Hellertown R .D. 1 and 10 grandchildren.

Service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Lower Saucon Union Church.
