Amos J. Frankenfield
Amos J. Frankenfield, aged 77 years, died at the Allentown Hospital at 1 o ?clock Friday morning. Mr. Frankenfield resided at the home of his son-in -law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Odenheimer, 1607 Turner St., Allento wn. He was taken to the institution two weeks ago for treatment for a so re toe, which later developed gangrene.
Mr. Frankenfield was born near Farmersville, a son of Frederick and Mar ie Boyer Frankenfield. He resided in Easton for many years, and was at o ne time proprietor of the Central Hotel, 4th and Northampton Streets. He w as a resident of Allentown for the past twenty-eight years, and while in t his city was engaged in the huckstering business. He was a member of Dub bs Memorial Reformed church.
There survive one daughter, Mrs. Edwin Odenheimer and a grandson E. Wilb er Odenheimer.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday with services in the home of his son-i n-law at 1:30 p.m. followed by interment in Easton cemetery. Rev. E. E. K resge, will officiate.
